Welcome to the website of BRAVA – Rural Resistance Network [https://rederesistenciarural.org/], a digital platform dedicated to territorial justice, community mutual aid and the defence of rural territories, run from Portugal.

By accessing or using our website, you declare that you have read, understood and accepted, without reservation, these Terms and Conditions of Use (the “Terms”). If you do not agree with any of the points below, you should not use the website or the services made available on it.

1. Acceptance of the Terms

1.1. By browsing, filling in forms, making donations or interacting with our services, you declare that you accept these Terms and undertake to comply with them, as well as with all applicable laws and regulations.

1.2. We reserve the right to change these Terms at any time. The updated version will always be available on this page, with the revision date visible. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

2. Use of the Website

2.1. Eligibility

To use this website, you must be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in your country of residence, and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts.

Donations made through the website are intended to directly support BRAVA’s projects and campaigns. By making a donation, you acknowledge that the funds will be applied in accordance with the stated objectives of the initiative and that no refunds will be made, except where required by law.

When using the website, you undertake to act ethically and respectfully, refraining from any use that compromises the security, integrity or objectives of BRAVA.

3. Participation and Donations

3.1. Donations made through the website go directly towards the running of BRAVA, support for network initiatives and collective action campaigns.

3.2. When making a donation, you acknowledge that it is voluntary and non-refundable, except in cases required by law.

4. User Responsibilities

When accessing or using the BRAVA website, users undertake to:

• Not publish defamatory, discriminatory, offensive or unlawful content;

5.1. Financial transactions are processed by external providers such as Stripe, using secure encryption systems.

5.2. BRAVA does not store your payment data. Any problems with payments must be dealt with directly with the platform concerned.

6.1. All website content — including texts, logos, images, videos, design, structure and materials — is the property of BRAVA or used with permission, and is protected by intellectual property law.

6.2. Reproduction, distribution, modification or use without BRAVA’s written consent is prohibited.

6.3. It is also prohibited to associate BRAVA’s image, content or visual identity with causes or activities it does not identify with, such as pornographic, violent, unlawful, party-political, religious or discriminatory content.

7.1. By providing your email, you authorise us to send you informational communications about campaigns, events and ways to take part.
