We strengthen
communities
in resistance
For living territories, against extractivism.
rural RESISTANCE NETWORK
BRAVA connects those who resist in their territory with those who can support them — with their hands, their money, their knowledge or their tools. We link communities threatened by extractivism, and building fairer alternatives, with those who choose to strengthen resistance and regeneration.
Who supports?
People and organisations who decide to contribute what they have — time, money, knowledge, tools, land, visibility — to strengthen these struggles. They are the foundation of our redistribution.
Who resists?
Communities, collectives and people who live or work in rural territories facing extractivist threats, or developing fairer alternatives and regenerative practices.
Today you resist, tomorrow you support. This network lives on mutual aid and the concrete, nimble sharing of resources, so that no struggle is left isolated and no act of solidarity is lost.
RURAL RESISTANCE FUND
Transparent. Self-managed. In solidarity.
All donations go into a common account.
When we reach €3,000, we draw a jury by lot from among everyone who contributed — regardless of the amount they gave. That jury meets just once to decide how to share the funds among the requests received. Then it dissolves. The money goes straight to those who resist, with no red tape
What is happening?
Every day, the countryside is reshaped by projects that promise progress but impose destruction.
Open-pit mines, energy megaprojects, greenhouses and monocultures, logistics hubs, dams, resorts and eucalyptus plantations invade rural territories in the name of profit — exhausting the soil, the water and ways of life. They call it transition. But what we see is exhaustion. They call it the back country. But it is here that what matters most is at stake: land, food, community, future. The countryside is neither a resource nor a reserve. It is living territory. And it is under attack.

What we do
We connect those who live on, care for and defend the land with those who want to strengthen the resistance.
We support rural communities facing destructive projects with concrete means: direct funding, legal and technical support, tools to communicate, denounce and act. We build alliances, circulate knowledge, and activate networks of solidarity. We promote a regenerative vision of the rural world — and confront extractivism with organisation, agility and courage.
Why resist?
Because extractivism is not inevitable.
Because extractivism is not inevitable.
Because silence favours those who profit from destruction.
Because every local struggle is a defence of the commons.
Because to resist is to care — for the land, for people, for the future.
Because we cannot afford the luxury of powerlessness: either we build alternatives, or we lose everything.
For living territories, against extractivism.
